I have no money for ‘fat cat’ CEO charities

Full marks to The Irish Examiner for publishing the enormous salaries of charity CEOs and for listing those who refused to disclose theirs.

I have no money for ‘fat cat’ CEO charities

Perhaps you will now publish a list of low salaries of charity CEOs.

Why do these fat cat CEOs think we who give to charities want to feather their nests?

It takes 1,000 contributions of €100 to pay one CEO’s salary, before the deserving cause gets a penny.

Multiply that by dozens of so-called charities and we have millions of euro sucked up by these self-serving CEOs. ! I urge every contributor to research any charity before donating to it. If the Irish Examiner publishes the list from the bottom up, it will be of great service, not only to more deserving charities, but to all charities — it might shame those greedy CEOs (and board members) into reducing their ‘take’ from the poor and disadvantaged in our society.
