Beds withdrawal could be fatal for CF children
Hospital visits are necessary every couple of months. These fill me with dread, as we have to enter via A & E. This short walk, and the hospital, put my son’s health at risk. Yearly bloods have to be taken in the wards of sick children: try explaining to a three-year-old that they cannot play with the toys.
I cannot praise the cystic fibrosis team highly enough, but I can see, as time is going on, and cut backs are becoming ever more severe, that they are under increasing strain. What does this mean for my son’s future?
