Exasperating decisions

John Healy may well be right when he says that Barosso, Van Rompuy and co. were “incandescent and exasperated” when omitted from “Paddy’s bailout exit party” (Letters, Dec 28).

But they were not half as incandescent and exasperated as the rest of us when we discovered that the decisions made by our most powerful citizens during the boom bankrupt the country.
