Charity naivety

In view of the negative publicity about high salaries paid to charity CEOs and other senior managers, can I suggest that all those charities operating on zero (or very low) salaries write to the newspapers on that subject, listing their salaries against their names.

Foolishly, I thought managers and board members of all charities worked on a pro-bono basis.

I thought, like me, after we retire and live on our pensions we should work for some deserving cause. Even during my working life I never accepted payment whenever I worked for a charity.
