I want my money back from the CRC

In Oct 2011 two gentlemen called to my house and asked me to support the Care Trust by completing a direct debit mandate for €15 per month.

At first I was a bit cautious but my gut feeling was that these two gentlemen were very genuine, the younger man having spent some time in the CRC. after an accident. My sympathy for him led me to sign up.

After they left, I checked out the Care Trust on the internet and was very relieved that it was a bona fide organisation which raised funds for the CRC and the Mater Hospital — two very noble institutions. Lady Goulding’s association with the clinic is well known and Mary Kennedy is the Care Trust ambassador.
