Consumers will pay price for water meters

Why is it that a few of us are compelled to put pen to paper? Is it that the rest of Ireland has lost all hope, or that the fluoride in the water has made them docile?

I don’t have the answers but I do know one thing, Irish water and the Government are hell-bent on ripping us off.

They have come up with a brilliant idea. First tell the people that the cost of water per household is €300 per year.

But the fact is it will cost €600 or more, as they have already decided to increase the charge every year.

This puts in mind the distribution of the one-armed bandits that the Mafia attempted to introduce throughout America. In Ireland we now know them as water meters.
