Charity should begin at home, not abroad

It’s absurd that when vulnerable adults and children are facing cutbacks to the availability of medical cards, etc, our Government has borrowed millions to give as aid to foreign countries.

Charity should begin at home, not abroad

These so-called poor countries can afford to spend billions of dollars annually on armaments, from the USA, France, UK, Russia, China, etc.

Surely charity should begin at home? We should be honest and admit that we can’t afford to donate money, with hundreds of homeless people and thousands queuing daily to obtain a free meal.
