Applause for our Monday sports supplement

I applaud the Irish Examiner for its excellent sports supplement on Mondays.

The coverage of the provincial and All-Ireland GAA championships is first-class and, since the Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy cups, it has been fascinating to follow the club championships up and down the country. As the winning captain in a final says to the losing team from the victory rostrum, ‘hip hip hooray’, to all who make the supplement.
