It’s not earth that’s in danger, it’s dumb humans

So scientists are 95% certain that it is indeed we humans who are causing climate change.

A few years ago, scientists were pretty sure, but now they are almost definite. We may have to wait another decade, and another few degrees of increased temperature and higher sea levels, for them to reach the magic 100%, but by then the Maldives may no longer exist and tornadoes might be sweeping across Kerry.

If we were told our planet was going to be hit by an asteroid at a specific date in the next few years, we would be doing something about it. Building an asteroid shield or relocating to Jupiter or whatever — I don’t know, I’m not an asteroid expert. My only experiences of asteroid disasters involve Bruce Willis movies.
