Americans have no right to invade Syria

I am totally against any acts of terrorism, be they small or big as I am a member of Amnesty International. I am totally anti-war and other violence no matter what form it comes in.

The Americans are preparing to go to war in Syria, a re-run of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that will kill thousands of innocent people. I do not agree with Basher al-Assad and if he is guilty of the murder of his people by chemical weapons then it is up to the UN and world court to punish him and not for Americans to take the law into their own hands. They must act within international law, they can’t just act like mavericks when it suits them, as this was what the Nazis, Japan and Italy did before World War II.

If the Syrian regime falls, their replacements will be twice as cruel and ruthless. What guarantee that the Christian minority won’t be wiped out and their churches burned down as Sharia law takes over in Syria? If Islamic fundamentalists take over, a country that borders Israel, then you will have a powder-keg situation that would explode into a bigger regional war if not World War III where nuclear bombs would be used and Armageddon will have become a reality.
