Respect our anthem

Further to my letter on the singing of our national anthem may I make a few suggestions.

Teach Amhrán na bhFiann to every national school child; at sporting events encourage players to stand to attention until the anthem ends, and ask hurlers to remove helmets during the playing of the tune.

These simple measures will ensure proper respect is shown.
