Infected with deadly virus called religion

Vincent Browne is to be admired for his new programme Challenging God. After all no one has ever proved a god exists.

It is certain if aliens ever visited earth, no doubt they would swiftly conclude that mankind was affected by a deadly virus called religion, and that humans do create gods in their own image.

Political leaders start off parliament by calling on God or Allah for inspiration. In courts all over the world people call their god (who is invisible) to witness them telling the truth. Religious believers claim that God foresees all things and that they have free will. If this is true then they can only do what God has foreseen, so how can they have free will?
