Waste of time

I recently contacted the Financial Ombudsman regarding a life policy issue.

I stated that if the rule whereby the ombudsman could not deal with a matter dated more than six years ago was to be invoked, to please state that now and not waste their time nor mine.

Months later, and enough paper used to fell a small forest, they could not deal with the issue as it referred to matters more than six years ago! The under-manning pleadings of that office ring false with me.
