Presidential reform

So our political masters have decided to ignore a recommendation from the Constitutional Convention to change the current system and allow presidential candidates to be nominated by ordinary citizens.

This would be democracy from the ground up and a great step forward.

Unfortunately our Government have decided to keep this power in the grubby hands of political parties. So much for reform.
