End of term for the Government

On Thursday, as the Dáil prepared to be dismissed for the holidays, The Irish Examiner (Jul 19) reported that national debt had risen under this government.

Much has been said about the country being run by school teachers, and it is ironic that the mid-term report shows that we are worse off now than when their stint in charge began.

Expulsion and iron-fisted discipline have been applied to TDs who dared to act outside the ‘group think’ emanating from the principal’s office.
