Bull runs end with the torture of the animals

While tourist injuries and deaths during the horrific ‘running of the bulls’ garner attention, it is rarely reported that every involuntary participant dies — and painfully.

The bulls that start the run are tortured to death in the bullring after the stampede. The magnificent animals who slip and slide on the cobbled streets during the run are later attacked by men, and stabbed with spears, spikes and daggers, causing tremendous pain and blood loss, until the matador stabs the exhausted animal to death with a sword. Tourists participating in the run need to know that their thrill-seeking contributes to the carnage.
