Irish system needs to be fixed

As the negligence, incompetence and general uselessness of our very expensive governmental system becomes more exposed by the day, one fact emerges continually — none of them will ever be held responsible for anything.

Wicklow Council were recently adjudged criminally responsible in connection with the deaths of two brave firemen in Bray. The Council will be fined about €3m.

The last Government knowingly watched banks wreck our economy and then retired with huge pensions.
