I simply had to write to your paper to congratulate the cash desk staff on the first floor in Marks and Spencer in Merchant’s Quay, Cork.

Staff respond well in hour of need

The daughter of a customer before me in the queue got extremely sick. The staff dealt with this situation in such a respectful, caring, dignified manner that it really touched me.

Being a mother and grandmother I know if I was in the same embarrassing situation, I would only be too pleased to be afforded such courtesy.
