Gravy train days over

To those of you who are under any illusion as to the importance of the Upper House or Seanad, at an annual cost of over €18m, this is an un-elected body which has, in its 90 years of existence, amended only 12 bills.

How many has it rejected? You guessed ... none. Even if they want to, they cannot stop a bill from being passed into law, they can only delay it. The gravy train is over lads.
