Driving tourists away

Rip-off Ireland is alive and well.

I hope to visit this summer. I have got two quotes for car rentals: one is 30 days for $2,800 (€2,150) and the second is 29 days for $3,000. These are mid-size cars.

Please let Fáilte Ireland know what’s going on, if they want people to come back for the Gathering. I am going for 50 days, I was afraid to ask for a quote. I only want to rent, not buy.
