Savings if Shatter goes

Shame on me for my ignorance, but I have only just found out that Mr Alan Shatter TD is Minister for Justice, Equality AND Defence.

Firstly, there are thousands of largely irrational laws to control us, but no attempt at justice at all.

Secondly, we are as likely to be under attack as the USA, so have no need of a token defence force.

Finally, there has been no equality in Ireland for many decades already (compare a TD’s lifestyle with all the decent taxpayers losing their homes).

Thus, if Mr Shatter goes, it will change nothing. Then get rid of all three departments. Savings — around €4bn per year.
