Humans and hypocrisy

The Woolwich murder is tragic and a nation mourns the death and commiserates with the family of the slain man.

Humans and hypocrisy

But what is also tragic is when we come across cases of terrorism and the response from the British mainstream media and the British government has been anything but condemnatory.

Some years ago, two SAS soldiers in attempting to evade arrest, murdered an Iraqi police officer.

Once captured, the pair were discovered to have been driving a booby-trapped car.

Dressed as arabs and in possession of remote control detonators, their intentions were clearly to inflict mass murder.

Within 24 hours, they were rescued by a unit of the British Army.

Two soldiers involved in the rescue received awards. Why is some terrorism rewarded and another punished? Let’s recognise the hypocrisy and hypocrites in this state of affairs.
