Excuse is hard to swallow

So Alan Shatter gets away with a roadside Garda breath test because he was a bit “wheezy” from asthma?

I wonder would this excuse work on the average Joe Soap — because if it works for our masters, then why not us?

If he was that impaired by his asthma, then surely he should not have been behind the wheel.

This makes a mockery of our highly respected police force and in particular it makes the gardaí who stopped him look like complete ‘eejits’.
