Abortion is un-Christian

If we were able to peer through the smokescreen of all the legal niceties surrounding the abortion issue, we could see the effort to justify a mother taking the life of her unborn child is the absolute contradiction of Christianity.

“By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, that you have love one for another,” Christ said. The love of a mother for her child is the most fundamental love of all. To undermine that love is the supreme conquest of evil.

It makes it even worse if it is accomplished under the guise of concern; some would even call it Christian concern. That must bring an even wider grin of satisfaction to the face of Satan, if he is capable of a grin. The real problem seems to be that our legislators do not realise whose side they are taking.
