One for all, all for one

Concern must be voiced about the abortion bill.

If one innocent life is taken, it is as if all our lives were taken, and if one life is saved, it is as if all humanity was saved.

Most people I know support abortion in specified, emergency and non-emergency situations, but are appalled that someone can get an abortion because they’re depressed. Many abortions in England and Wales, according to 2011 statistics, have been performed under legislation similar to that being proposed here. To me, as a dutiful citizen, legislation that would enact such procedures would amount to a taking of all our lives.
