Iran or Ireland? Spot the difference
In one of these countries, the banks, their senior employees and cronies in government have stolen so much money that there are few proper free-market jobs left and services are collapsing.
Poverty is increasing. Senior bureaucrats are paid so much for so little that they are refusing to reveal details of their income.
I also read that the politicians are giving themselves semi-secret bonuses to repay their loans, while the common people’s houses are being repossessed. Many people are hungry, especially children, and lack proper medical treatment because the hospitals are overcrowded.
The Church and government have abused children in religious workhouses and asylums for decades and covered it up.
A prime minister once said on TV that anybody who did not accept the greatness of his government should consider suicide.
Now, largely as a result of that indifference, many ordinary people are now committing suicide because they have no hope left.
There are ‘rebel’ groups springing up demanding that the Government reform its attitudes on children’s rights, property taxes and to its people. It’s appalling, and I agree with getting rid of the Government and everybody in it.
Oh, sorry. I misread my handwritten notes.
The top doesn’t say Iranian, it says Ireland. Oh dear. It wouldn’t make sense to ask the Americans to start bombing the place I live in.
What should we do now?
