Final cut for film fest?

As a long-term patron of Cork Film Festival, I was baffled to read of the dismissal of director Mick Hannigan and programmer Una Feely.

The reason for the festival’s success is the high quality of films, the breadth of genre, subject and format, and its support for emerging talent.

Mick and Una have been the driving forces of this cultural integrity, and I do not believe it will survive their dismissal.
