Kells-Dublin operates at a ‘high-frequency’

Contrary to comments by a Mr Doyle (Letters, Mar 22), Bus Éireann operates a high-frequency commuter service between Kells and Dublin, with services starting from Kells at 5.30am, and going every 15 minutes at peak-times.

Likewise, from Dublin in the evening, services operate every 15 minutes at peak-times, and the last service from Dublin to Kells departs at 11.30pm. So, as many of our commuting customers from Kells have found, it is possible to save €2,000 a year by travelling on our services, by switching from the car and still do a full day’s work.
