Mass engagement

I refer to Master Goode’s letter (Mar 5).

Firstly, well done. It is always good to see another young person actively engaging in the media via the art of letter writing.

Your rhetoric is all too commonplace in today’s Ireland and veritable Catholics may be fewer than before, but it remains still that if someone has faith and wishes to practise their faith in a Church, however flawed by human error, which they believe to be the “one holy, catholic and Apostolic Church” they must be allowed to do so in peace. I shan’t be intimidated and shall ‘wake up’ next Sunday morning and head to Mass. In fact, I may go Saturday night, too.
