Church abusing silence

Unwillingness to deal directly with an accused person, an injunction to secrecy, presumption of guilt, lack of due process – does this seem like a caring church in 21st century Ireland?

This is our Catholic Church dealing brutally with our silenced priests of great integrity.

Let us support Fr Tony Flannery in urging the Irish hierarchy to take up these matters immediately and let us hear what they have to say. The Church has used and abused silence for too long.
