Many employers are now insisting on electronic applications and refuse to accept postal applications.

This activity may be illegal and is certainly highly obstructive.

It precludes all persons that have no access to electronic mediums, or who are unable to use them for whatever reason. One also hears of people applying by post and getting jobs, even though others have to apply by a different method.
