True leadership from Kenny comes at a price

There was I thinking how on earth can someone like Enda Kenny, who has been Taoiseach for nearly two years now, justify accepting an annual salary of €200,000 (before tax free unverified expenses and pension entitlements) when the economy and political system is no different now than it was when he took office, and I dare say if his political mentor Liam Cosgrave were to return to government he wouldn’t notice much difference from when he was Taoiseach.

True leadership from Kenny comes at a price

But then I see Mr Kenny has announced he is going to hold an ‘emergency meeting’ about creating jobs, but not immediately, just sometime this month.

Well, now of course after that show of true leadership, I don’t know how anyone could doubt he isn’t worth the third highest salary among EU leaders.
