Canadian welcome

With reference to your recent article on Canada by Jennifer Hough, I enjoyed reading it and was pleased to see the Canadians acknowledged for their generosity towards immigrants.

I am from Cork and am home on holidays for Christmas. I have been in Canada for 25 years and love it there. I live in Edmonton, which was described as a small town. I would just like to let Ms Hough know that Edmonton is actually the capital of Alberta, and is known as the gateway to the north as anyone going north to Fort McMurray will visit our wonderful city.
