Are the 100 local Garda stations facing closure to be replaced with 100 brothels?

It is time for the Government to get its priorities right and ensure the current review of prostitution laws is not inviting pimps into communities which no longer have a local garda.

The review of the laws on prostitution which is currently before the Dáil Justice Committee should be swiftly concluded and laws brought in to safeguard communities without Garda stations. This can be achieved by targeting the buyers of sex, who have brought organised crime to every county.
