The Cork Savings Bank building has a very honourable history serving the people of Cork as a Penny Bank and a secure place for savings for generations of Cork people.

Cork Savings Bank was fortunate to have a board of local voluntary directors from the world of business manufacturing and trade unions. Well over 100 years ago the bishops of the Catholic and Protestant communities were represented on the board of the bank.
