Convenient distraction

The hysteria in various media outlets in relation to the jailing of Sean Quinn serves as a convenient distraction for the political class in this country.

While the electorate get on the airwaves to blow off steam on treatment of a “decent man”, they should ask themselves why this country continues to elect politicians who fail to make any significant reforms to a system which allows the general public to pay for the mistakes of our so-called elite?
