Hard talk by Ryanair

Stephen Sackur (Hardtalk, BBC1) recently interviewed Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary.

Usually Sackur’s incisive and uncompromising method of interviewing leaves his guests floundering.

Not so our Michael, he had poor Stephen eating out of the palm of his hand.

When asked was it true that Ryanair intended to fly with one pilot only O’Leary replied that it was his wish that Ryanair aircraft should fly pilotless — after all, he said, drones fly with no pilots and they only have explosives onboard.
