Taoiseach’s judgement must be questioned

Taoiseach Enda Kenny exercised poor judgement in appointing Dr Reilly.

Both lack attention to detail. Enda focuses on the optics and leaves the detail to ministers. His tantrum at EU leaders pulling a fast one regarding our being left holding the (debt) baby is naive in the extreme.

Mr Kenny turned his back on former finance minister Brian Lenihan on the same issue, so why does he think the Germans are going to change their stance now, just because he is the Taoiseach and austerity enthusiast Michael Noonan is Minister for Finance? Kenny and Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore turned their back while the ECB exceeded their mandate and bullied the previous Irish government.

Time to face the truth, Enda, the ECB and Germany are not your friends, and Reilly is not a good health minister.
