Big pension payouts to TDs ‘beggar belief’

It beggars belief that two former Fianna Fáil taoisigh and four ministers received such gross ministerial payouts, mindful of the fact that each of these individuals were in a party responsible for the current economic crisis this country is in.

These payouts were sanctioned by the coalition government, at a time when health and social welfare services have been drastically reduced. The government also has plans for property tax, cuts in old age pensions. How much more can we endure at the hands of a government that is an indictment of gross failure?
