Pesticide scourge

Pesticide scourge

I would call on the Irish authorities to ban this awful practice of drenching grain in pesticides a few days before harvest. If proper monitoring would happen they would see that residues of this poison will stay on the grain and will even survive baking. For a staple diet, this is unacceptable.
