Warship diplomacy

I’m delighted that Jim Roche of the Irish Anti War Movement is keeping a eye on US warships visiting our shores, (Letters, Sept 4).

However, I’m surprised that he made no mention of a Russian destroyer that visited Cobh over the weekend. Either Jim and the IAWM are asleep on the job, or maybe they just don’t like American football.
