Threat to cut sports clubs funding unfair

One commentator even stated on radio that the council would have to cut off street lighting! And it’s all our fault.

Well I am quite prepared to pay the household tax, but not to central government. I will pay it directly to a sports club or some other deserving organisation in my area when advised of such.

When the household tax was brought out first I sent a cheque for €100 to Minister Phil Hogan, but made the cheque out to the Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

It was returned to me with another threatening letter.

What guarantee have we got that any money collected will not, as is the custom, be passed onto German bankers?
