Fás wastage not over yet

We are all familiar with the wastage of funds that was rampant in Fás in the past.

We, the taxpayers and providers of funds for Fás, have been promised that they have turned over a new leaf. This is not true, the wastage continues.

The long standing Fás premises on Shandon Street has now closed in preference for a recently occupied premises in the new Cornmarket Street development where Fás were first in to a now largely unoccupied area of commercial units.

My business is on Shandon Street and it makes my blood boil to see another premises closing, especially when it is due to bad management and the taxpayer is picking up the tab as the vacated premises is likely to remain empty.

The time has come to shoot the dead horse.

Fás is not serving the people.
