Courtmacsherry people can take a deserved bow

We, the people of Kerry, more especially “El Nino” rowing club (Portmagee) would like to thank the people of Courtmacsherry, Co Cork, for their great show at the Irish Coastal Rowing Championships.

There was a great community spirit, friendliness, efficiency and all round organisational excellence. Volunteers were in abundance and no query was too small to answer. The food, too, has to be mentioned as it was both inexpensive and in abundance — and tasted great!
