Irish Examiner not fooled by Kenny comments
I refer to the attempt by Taoiseach Enda Kenny to pull the wool over people’s eyes regarding the ‘bailout’, and the official documentation surrounding what might well be coercion by the unelected ECB to force the hand of our government. The Irish Examiner reports that documents exist pertaining to the time of the crisis which have been seemingly denied by the Taoiseach.
A few months ago, I saw Enda Kenny stand up in the Dáil in a spectacular display of abuse of the late Brian Lenihan’s handling of the crisis and make a blatant accusation of shredding of documents. Enda Kenny must be held to account for his words and the Irish Examiner is the only paper to report the fact that the Public Accounts Committee chaired by John McGuinness is to act on behalf of the people to bring the truth finally to the light of day.
