So, Minister Pat Rabbitte proclaims it a retrograde step for a Catholic bishop to teach and proclaim that all human life is sacred and abortion is wrong.

What I find so retrograde is that Pat Rabbitte’s Labour Party, with its increasing hostility towards Catholicism, continues with annual church-gate collections which hassle and upset Mass-goers on their way into church.
