Fighting the gender battle on empowering women

Victoria White (Opinion, Aug 16) boldly rushes in where angelic men fear to tread.

“We’ve got to find a way to make raising children a pathway to power. So that women whose first passion has been their children can have a second passion: humanity.”

She appears to relish the thought of “hate-mail” and snubbings at parties, etc., as all part of the ‘cause-celebre’, and no doubt will be able to hack any and all invective coming her way.
