Final cabinet meeting - Not radical but reforms will suffice
Unsurprisingly, numerous governments have dragged their heels on this issue.
In an era when some politicians were more interested in private gain than public service, the need for parliamentary reform has never been greater. It will not come overnight, because transforming the Dáil must involve a realistic reduction of highly paid public representatives, many of them ineffective.
