Fewer TDs please

I am calling on the Taoiseach and the Government to reduce the number of TDs by 30 to save some money.

What do we need so many TDs for?

We have five times more representation than Britain. Between 80-100 TDs would be ample.

The Seanad should also be abolished. Nothing happens there, some senators are merely appointed. Politicians are overpaid and have expenses which are beyond my calculation as to how to spend them, and they end up with a very large pension.
