Are FG and Labour hiding something?
It’s nice to see some justice being done for a change and I look forward to the trial of the unnamed developer from whom Mr Forsey received the payments.
Whilst the councillors who voted against the re-zoning at the centre of this case are to be commended, the comments of their colleagues who were in favour beggars belief.
‘I voted for jobs and I’d vote the same way again tomorrow’ seems to be the general theme. Have these people learned nothing?
It’s depressing, but I’d imagine this same, short-sighted attitude would be replicated by many councillors in those regions worst affected by ghost estates and empty houses.
I wouldn’t give the Greens much credit for anything, but surely it is high time we had a full, independent and criminal investigation into planning irregularities, as originally envisaged by John Gormley.
The toothless alternative instigated by big Phil and Co just doesn’t cut the mustard and begs the question: Do Fine Gael and Labour have something to hide?
